Tasting Notes

The 2008 Houdini Sauvignon Blanc jumps out of the glass with bright and fresh aromas of Kiwi fruit, gooseberries, hints of lemon tart and fresh tropical fruits with a twist of freshly cut grass.

The palate is everything you want in a Sauvignon blanc with mouth watering acidity and freshness. It is full of vibrant gooseberries, citrus, tropical fruit and a fresh herbaceous backbone.

Cellaring

Smidge recommends drinking this wine within the next 12 to 18 months.

Viticulture

The fruit for this wine  was sourced from vineyards in the Southern end of the Adelaide Hills Region in Kuipto.

Vinification & Maturation
The fruit was machine picked and then whole bunch pressed into tank where it was innoculated and fermented.
